Episode 7: Kawkawlin Creek Flooding, Part 2
In this episode of River Runners, we’re back at the Kawkawlin Creek Flooding for Part II—this time trading fishing rods for a side-by-side and heading deep into the woods. We took on the muddy trails and hidden paths that run through the back end of the wildlife game area, ready for whatever the day had in store. Spoiler alert: we found adventure… and also found ourselves stuck. Between navigating tight trails, dodging low branches, and trying not to bottom out in deep mud holes, this ride had no shortage of thrills (and a few laughs at our own expense). It’s the kind of off-road exploring that reminds us just how fun and wild Michigan’s public lands really are. From cruising wide-open views to unexpected rescues, it was a ride to remember. Hop in and hang on—this episode is all about mud, mayhem, and making the most of the ride.
