Rivers are the lifeblood of our planet. Clean air, abundant wildlife, vital science, all flow through healthy waterways. Rivers are Life is a global platform and foundation working to protect and restore our world’s rivers while revealing how water connects us to air, ecosystems, and each other.

MISSION

We redefine the narrative around rivers and the ecosystems they sustain. Through storytelling, hands-on projects, community engagement, and strategic partnerships, we inspire action and work together to deliver 1,000 impact projects by 2050 for a thriving planet.

VISION

To usher in a new era of nature conservation where river systems are healthy, wildlife flourishes, people have clean water, and science guides how we care for Earth’s ecosystems.
