Rivers are Life announced it's participating in this year's Wildlands Music event taking place in Big Sky.

Volunteers needed for Tittabawassee cleanup during River Days Festival
Rivers are Life, a global network focused on protecting waterways, will sponsor this year’s festival and kick off the event with a river cleanup along the Tittabawassee River on Thursday, July 31. The organization is partnering with local groups for the effort, including the Midland Area Community Foundation, Chippewa Nature Center, Little Forks Conservancy, and the Midland County Historical Society.

Rivers are Life, a global conservation movement headquartered in Michigan that invests in the protection of rivers around the world, announced today its participation at this year's Wildlands music event in Big Sky, Montana. An event that is focused on supporting outdoor conservation and bringing outdoor enthusiasts together around a common cause, Rivers are Life will assist in kicking this year's event off by hosting a river cleanup for attendees on Friday, August 1st.
Volunteers return to Cedar River for stream sampling
Volunteers with Little Forks Conservancy will soon return to the Cedar River for the biannual stream sampling event on Saturday, May 17. This long-running project uses aquatic macroinvertebrates—animals without a backbone that can be seen with the naked eye—to help assess water quality in the river. This event is being sponsored by Rivers Are Life.

On Saturday, May 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., volunteers of all ages are invited to take part in Little Forks Conservancy’s Cedar River Stream Sampling event located at 145 Clendening Road in Gladwin. It is proudly sponsored by Rivers are Life.
